Question Ascom - Alpaca despair

Hi all,
Last week I proudly assembled my new Avalon mount.
Configuration: mount (Avalon M-Zero) with StarGoPlus controller is connected to a miniPC with an ethernet cable.I can reach and control the mount via the network and even control it from the miniPC with CdC (Skychart).
Next step is using NINA from the miniPC. 
I followed the instructions in setting this up, as NINA natively doesn't let you choose the AvalonUD Telescope driver, so using this driver must be "prepared".
So back to Skychart > Ascom Telescope Interface > Ascom Local.
But there in the Ascom Telescope Chooser the driver never shows up!The Alpaca Discovery light stays red (and yes: discovery is enabled).
Strange: when I swith to Ascom Alpaca, it shows AvalonUDTTelescope-(name telescope), so it must be there somewhere. 

What am I missing (after two days of trial and error, Avalon instructions, internetsearches etc.) ?
