Solved Power supply 15V - 4A or 12V - 3A for Linear mount?

many Thanks for the detailed response.
Like you, I have my own dew heater that I built many moons ago. My battery can run this and my previous mount for about 2-3 nights. So this should work with the LINEAR also. I will give it a go....

Just to close this discussion I have now tested the LINEAR StarGO connected directly to my LiFEPO4 battery and everything works as advertised!
