I hope that you can help me with the following. My Avalon Due stops abruptly during a slew when engaging both the DEC and RA motors at the same time. This happens when slewing the mount using the control keypad (pressing one of the RA and DEC buttons at the same time) or when using KStars. However, releasing one of the keys of the control keypad causes the mount to continue to slew. Note that I am away from the mount limits, and the mount is balanced. Is this normal behavior? If it is not, then how can this be mitigated?
