Hello!

I've just upgraded to the latest Stargo version 6.2.0 SP3. Now I have a problem with any goto slews. What is happening is that the mount slews to the target as normal in 'fast' speed. However when it gets close to the target it would normally slow down and change speed the closer it gets to the target (you can normally hear this in the sound changing). Now however the speed does not change and stays in 'fast'! So when it arrives at the target it slews back and forward in fast speed exactly 4 times then stops. The same happens when I use 'Slew to home position'. Again it slews fast to the home position and then uses four fast slews once it gets there (presumably trying to hit the target) and then stops. I have a short video demonstrating this if you need.

There is obviously something very wrong. Do you have any idea what it could be?

Thanks,

Mike

Hello Mike

After the StarGo Software/Firmware upgrade are you still using your customized Linear Mount Configuration file?

Probably this issue comes because in this latest version there was a motor ramp managment settings changing.

So in order to resolve this issue you should select the Linear.mcf standard mount configuration file.

Let us know about

Best regards

Thanks Stefano, yes I did load my backup file so that's probably it. I will test tonight.
