M-Due guiding accuracy with PHD2 was created by JethroXP
Assuming a well balanced OTA (EdgeHD 8"), no wind, and a stable platform, what is normal for total RMS error in PHD2 with the M-Due? I'm getting first light right now, and averaging about 0.71" total RMS.

I have the M-UNO run by the new StarGo2 controller. Telescope is a GSO RC10.
Did you by any chance try the internal EKOS guider? I could not get it to work. After calibration and a few seconds of guiding, the guider stops and says “mount is slewing”, which is obviously not the case.
I will try PHD2 once weather permits.

I have not tried the internal software. Prior to the M-Due I was using NINA on a Windows PC, so that's what I'm continuing to do with the M-Due. I'm using the StarGo2 only as a passthrough for NINA and PHD2. I've also only had one clear night since getting the mount, so I have no additional data points beyond what I shared above. With the M-Due having absolute encoders, Stefano has advised in another thread to disable "Use Encoder Correction" when using PHD2. It was enabled for my first (and so far only) session. I'll try disabling that next time, but I do wonder what the point of having the encoders is if their corrections are disabled when guiding.

Thank you for the detailed feedback. I will try with PHD2 and INDIGO AstroGuider once weather permits.
Disabling encoders is kind of pointless, I agree. It depends on how they are integrated in the whole control process. An external software would have issues. So Avalon would need to provide an integrated solutions.

How do I set the AutoGuide Speed for the M-due? For my EdgeHD 8" I should be using 0.15 sidereal for RA and 0.25 for DEC
