Question StarGO2 and Full ASIAIR Support?

The ASIAIR can still only access the StarGO2 via the SkySafari INDI drivers. The mount setting on the ASIAIR is LX200 Basic. This works fine for the planning, GOTO and re-centering with plate solving.

Guiding commands are not supported with this setting/drivers. So no guiding with the ASIAIR and the StarGO2.

Other driver settings such as the LX200 Classic on the ASIAIR do not work with the StarGO2.

There seems to be no support for the nice and very well done native INDI drivers of the StarGO2.

Not sure, who or how this can be fixed? By ZWO or by Avalon Instruments…?

An easy fix might be to increase the command set/library of the SkySafri driver on the StarGO2 to allow the ASIAIR to utilize the generic LX200 Classic drivers.

Has anyone else experienced this issue?

How can it be that a brand new €2000 telescope controller is incompatible with state-of-the-art and widely used imaging equipment?
