Hello again,

I encounter the follwing problem on different computers (a Lenovo ThinkPad and a MiniX mini PC, both W10 Pro):

Starting Ipolar App (newest version) exclusively is without issues, it even reads out coordinates from the mount (Avalon M Zero with StarGo connected via USB (StarGo App not yet started!)).

As soon as I start the StarGo App Ipolar disconnects: "camera disconnected"

- on both computers energy saving is deactivated.

- StarGO App uses COM port 3 ( no other option on Mini PC; on Lenovo Think Pad there is COM 8 possible - no difference in behavior)
- "use Bluetooth port" is deactivated (StarGo settings)
- the privacy settings concerning camera are set to "allow"

(iOptron support is also contacted)

Powered necessary?...Any suggestions?
Peter

Hello Peter

We made tests with a PC Win10 Pro, a Laptop Win10 Pro and a Lapbook Win10 Home and, after setting the camera privacy option to “allow”, everything worked fine.

It could be a power issue, so please try to connect the iPolar and the StarGo with a powered hub and let us know about it.

Also try to change connection cables and be sure to use good quality cables to connect the StarGo and iPolar.

Best regards.

Stefano

Hi Stefano,
yes it ´s a power issue! The problem was solved after installing a powered hub.
Thanks a lot!
